Brand Identity, Packaging, and Web Experience

Synopsis: Davis Cookie Co. is a local bakery known for its homemade-style cookies and community roots. This rebranding project focused on redesigning the company’s logo, visual and verbal assets, and landing page to better reflect its core values of warmth, authenticity, and joy. The new identity created a cohesive brand experience that highlights the company’s story and strengthens its connection with customers.

Context

Davis Cookie Co. isa small business, known for its handmade cookies. The goal of this project was to design a visually cohesive interface that highlights the brand's personality while maintaining usability and clarity.

Competitive Analysis

To better understand visual trends and positioning within the dessert and specialty food space, I conducted a ceompetitve analysis ofsimilar brands. The goal was to identify common UI patterns, visual styles, and opportunities for differentiation.

Design Process

Visual Asset Creation

I began the project by creating a moodboard, I designed custom vector illustrations in Adobe Illustrator to support the brand's personality and create reusable visual assets. These illustrations were used across the interface to reinforce consistency and brand recognition.

UI Layout & Homepage Design

I then designed the homepage layout in Figma, focusing on visual hierarchy, spacing, and clarity. Key sections were structured to guide useres through featured products, brand messaging, and calls to action while maintainging a clean aesthetic.

Interaction & Component Design

I implemented Auto Layout and reusable components in Figma. Interactive elements such as carousels and looping content were built using components and variants, with defind states for selected and deselected interactions.

Outcome

The rebranding of Davis Cookie Co. resulted in a more cohesive and engaging brand experience across both physical and digital platforms. By incorporating the logo, consistent packaging design, and clear visual hierarchy, the brand strengthened recognition and memorability among existing and new customers.
The redesigned landing page, with its interactive elements and clear storytelling, improved user engagement and showcased the company’s core values, emphasizing its unique positioning as a giftable, community-focused bakery. Overall, the project successfully aligned the brand’s visual and verbal identity with its mission and values, creating a polished, professional, and approachable presence that better resonates with customers and differentiates Davis Cookie Co. from competitors.
